1. Wash face only at night
I used to wash my face every few hours. Specially when I lived in a place that was sunny and after feeling a little sweaty my impulse was to wash my face. Unfortunately that makes your face make extra oil and that is a big NO NO. So washing your face before bed is really hard at first but it helps reduce the amount of oil your skin creates.
2. Apply toner both morning and night
Apply toner which is a liquid solution that you apply on your T-zone or oily parts of your face. Do it after you wash your face at night and in the morning instead of washing your face simply apply toner and then your moisturizer. I have used a couple oftoners and i found this to be my all time favorite but they also have unscented in this brand:
3. Deep wash 2-3 times per week
This means you can put a mask on that requires a 10-15 min application. Only 2-3 times per week. this will deep clean your pores but if you do it daily it will be counter productive. I used many a hand full but they irritated me, this one is very gentle on skin and leaves your skin moisturized. This brand has for all types of skin varietions.
4. Moisterize with acne products
Acne products are more light and less oily. This will help you not over moisturize your skin which is evident when you see many bumps of excess oil.
5. Shop for organic products
Organic products is the way to go to stay away from harsh chemicals. They tend to be more expensive but in the end it will keep your skin healthy.
